Thank you for choosing Memphis Recycling Services! We're a third-generation, family-owned and operated company, and we don't take it lightly when a business puts its waste and recycling program in our hands. Whether you've signed up for a single roll-off or a full multi-stream recycling program, our goal is the same: dependable service, straight answers, and a program that actually saves you money.
MRS operates Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and a full fleet of rear-load, roll-off, flatbed, box-truck, and trailer equipment out of our Memphis and Horn Lake locations — servicing commercial and industrial businesses, construction contractors, churches, schools, and residences across the entire Mid-South.

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental
Reliable 20- and 30-yard containers for trash/MSW, construction & demolition (C&D) debris, and dedicated recycling — with same- or next-day delivery when available.

Swaps, multi-box setups, and rental extensions are available for ongoing jobs. Street or right-of-way placement may require a municipal permit — we'll walk you through it.

Rear-Load Waste & Recycling Pickup
8-yard rear-load containers serviced on schedules from once a week up to six days a week. Three program options:
Commercial Waste Pickup
Scheduled trash (MSW) collection with flexible container sizes and frequencies.
Single-Stream Recycling
Cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum cans in one container — signage guidelines included.
ECO-FIBER Recycling
Dedicated fiber-only containers for cardboard (OCC), paperboard, and paper.
Material Hauling
- Bale route pickups — for sites with baling equipment; scheduled by bale count with fast, efficient loading
- Trailer service — staged trailers for on-site storage, or live-load for quick turnaround on high-volume recycling
- Box-truck pickups — moderate volumes, live-loaded, with dock-height or liftgate options

Maintenance and collection handled in-house.
Vertical downstroke balers — dense, rebate-ready bales of cardboard, paper, and plastics
Self-contained compactors (15–34 cu yd) — built-in sump for wet waste; ideal for restaurants
Stationary compactors + 40-yd receiver boxes — dry, high-volume industrial waste
Certified Destruction Services
Secure destruction of branded goods, proprietary packaging, damaged or expired product, and confidential documents — with compliance and proof-of-service documentation.
Waste & Recycling Audits
We walk your site, review your invoices, measure how full your containers actually run, and deliver right-sized recommendations. Audits routinely cut costs and unlock rebate revenue on cardboard, metals, and select plastics. Ask about our free recycling audit.

Materials guide
Clean, well-separated loads keep your costs down — contaminated loads can trigger facility surcharges. Accepted materials vary by program and facility, so when in doubt, ask dispatch before you toss it.

Remove nails and contaminants; stack safely.
Keep these out — restricted & special handling
- Hazardous or medical waste; paints, oils, fuels, chemicals, and liquids of any kind
- Food-contaminated items and liquids left in containers
- Loose plastic bags/film in single-stream; Styrofoam®
- Electronics, batteries, and bulbs — handled through dedicated programs
- In roll-offs: refrigerant appliances, propane or pressurized tanks, and hot ashes

Get the most from every pickup
- Flatten cardboard and keep recyclables clean, dry, and unbagged
- Load level to the rim — never above it — and distribute weight evenly
- Keep lids and doors closed and the approach clear: trucks need about 50 ft of approach and 12–14 ft of overhead clearance
- Separate streams where practical — cleaner loads mean lower disposal costs and better rebate value

Account & billing
The Customer Portal
Pay your bill, review your account, and update your information any time at the MRS customer portal. You'll also find it under "Your Account" in the site menu. Step-by-step payment instructions are posted on our online payment page.
Ways to Pay
We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, and business checks. Flexible payment terms are available for ongoing projects — just ask.

How Quotes & Charges Work
Your pricing reflects container size, material stream (MSW, C&D, or recycling), included weight allowance, and location — everything is explained upfront, with no surprise fees. A few tips to keep your invoice clean:
- Keep restricted items out of your container — prohibited materials found in a load can trigger additional handling fees
- Need a roll-off longer? Call before your scheduled pickup — extensions are available at a daily or weekly rate and beat paying an extra trip fee
- Watch your weight on heavy materials — tonnage beyond your included allowance bills at the per-ton disposal rate, so short-fill dense loads like concrete or shingles
- Separate recyclables where practical — dedicated streams typically lower tipping costs and can qualify for rebates
